Yes I did and there are no bubbles...
Yes.
That's the venturi.
Pull off the air hose and venturi from the pump and check and see if it's clogged.
Should just pull out.
Is it in salt or fresh?

I can't get it off but I got most of it out with a turkey baster. And they're is nothing in the venturi.
Nothing in the tubing? Have you taken the turbine out of the pump?

Weak/hungry snails are more likely to end up upside down than well fed/strong snails.

Also, if you get snails that scare easily they're more likely to fall off the glass or rocks when a fish swims by or you reach in the tank.

Makes total sense and that matches with the high likelihood those snails in my OG tank we likely hungry. Wouldn’t have known to connect the two

Nothing in the tubing and not sure what the turbine is...
The turbine is inside the pump. You'd have to take the skimmer body off the base, remove the pump front, and there's a fan looking thing inside. That pulls out easily - it's just a magnet usually.

Yes I took the fan looking part off and cleaned it.

Try putting the pump in the water outside of the skimmer and see if it's pumping good.

You can also take the front off and plug it in real quick for a second or two just to see if the turbine is spinning.

This is @fishguy242 (Frank's) Café Thread. There is a lot of great information and knowledge over there. Please be respectful, but joking is frequent and typically acceptable.

Well, that is embarrassing! Obviously seen the CAFE thread on this first page of R2R dashboard daily. Went in a couple times, but with 1000’s of posts didn’t even know where to start so quietly left the page. LOL.

Had no clue it was OUR Frank! I say our now cause I’ve adopted him too. I’ll skim looking for pups and tank photos and start reading from this week. That should get me at least coherent on what’s up!

Anyone else I should connect to a major thread!?!?

Lots of threads I follow - no one major. I've got 28 pages of threads I get notifications for. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: I follow a lot of the "Cronies" threads because a lot of our conversations cross thread posts.
