Yes there and Japan. Spam was created as a way for our soldiers to have protein out in the field in WWII. When the war ended there was a huge surplus given out in Hawaii and they incorporated it into the recipes. Being one of the only nations to help a country we defeated and that attacked us to rebuild we gave it to the Japanese who did the same. Enough history lessons for today.

my contribution to what you are talking about. Take that canned Spam, dice it up. add in diced potatoes, peppers and onion, a little seasoning and lots and lots of bacon and stir fry it!. Serve it on top of a toasted waffle. then pour bacon flavored gravy on top. pour the bacon grease into a glass and insert straw!

Paying for a wedding left me broke. I didn’t think people would want to watch cooking with Kev that just shows microwaved Stouffer’s turkey dinner, Kraft mac and cheese or ramen noodles.

I actually did a parody CV once in the late 80s. I just parodied actual accomplishments. I gave a copy to one of my friends and he showed it to his boss. I not only got called in I was hired on the spot as the Program Manager for a new classified ads system they were designing for the LA Times.
