Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
He was using some innuendos there. Ignore his 15 year old mind.
So we're saying that the episodes of Cooking with Kevin are actually prepared by his wife? Lol

Joel,

It's not possible to get all one sex. Every Berghia is AC/DC or self-identifies as both/either. I also think you got good healthy nudis from Reeftown because they crawled off on their own and 10 should have been enough. I'm wondering if it is the conjunction of bare-bottom tank, strong flow and big hungry fish. They got eaten before they got kids or the kids got eaten as well before they were kids.
Kind of what I've been thinking.
Looks like I'm out of options...

No, we're saying he has a dirty mind and says one thing that sounds innocent in order to jokingly tell a teenage boy joke.

You don't need a knife to cut this meat when you cook it slowly and the secret is in a little bit of oil and cooking wine 😉

Hey Kev, should your wife use a knife after marinating yours?

What if he put the fish in a hospital tank, turned down the flow and let them get established for a few weeks before adding the fish back? There has to be a way without tearing down the tank. Or do the same with an army of aptasia eating peppermint shrimp or when the fish are temporarily removed add a few aptasia eating file fish until the job is complete.
I have all the flow off at night.
11 hours only the return pump running.
Another question Kev-
How much aiptasia did you have when you decided to order?

are you grilling in the rain Luis? I need to get one of those grillzebos. I would grill a lot more if it wasn't for rain.
It's been 3 days of non-stop rain here, my friend, and you have to adapt to the situations lol. Besides, since I started cooking outside the house, I rarely do anything inside, mostly because of the smell that lingers in the house.

That only happened once after our third child was born.

It was awhile back, maybe 20, the worst was on my zoa island, it’s a magnet for aptasia, but I always figured there were always 10 somewhere for every one I could see.

I'm thinking positively here and I say that the berghias are doing their job but unfortunately I think it's too much aiptasia at this time, Joel. What if you take a picture of the tank in parts and take the photos again the following week because maybe due to the quantity you're not realizing it?

Wow. I bought only 3 for my cube which I think only had 15 or so aiptasia. Disappeared in about 10 days.

Yeah, it’s possible they haven’t reproduced enough in their cycles to see visible decline. They might be keeping it in check and you don’t realize it. Their bellies might be full

It could be, I haven't read much about Berghias, but I imagine they are not a vacuum that works 24 hours a day. I imagine they have some mating time, or if the tank has aggressive fish, they will come out when everyone is sleeping.

That's an excellent idea Luis.

You are correct Joel, they are only working when lights are out and dormant when lights are on.
