What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Ugh, sorry guys for not being able to stay caught up with y'all. I've had a terrible feeling of vertigo the past day and a half and it keeps me up all night making me feel very nauseous.
Sorry youre going through that Walker. Take care of yourself. We understand how it goes, we can catch you up when you fell better. And I hope that is soon.

Yes sir! Kinda disappointed with it’s growth pattern, the reason I got it was because of how they grew like fingers reaching to heaven. This one growth pattern is more like a chalice for some reason.
I have a "rainbow " pectinia that stays hidden in the back. It does have the finger growth pattern, but it's uglier than a mother in law's kiss.

Sorry Walker, I hope you feel better! I have had great success treating vertigo when it wasn’t due to the inner ear but cervicogenic vertigo over the decades. Very common in post whiplash patients.
Did someone say .... WHIPLASH!! My mind immediately went to this song when I read the post. This song was released in 1983. The video is the 'older' Metallica..

These guys look a lot older than I remember them in the 80’s. 🤔

my fresh water is Shimano but need something bigger for surf.

I think I was a Shimano guy because of all the bass fishing shows I watched as a kid. My hero back then was Bill Dance and he was a Shimano guy. St. Croix makes great polls.

Sorry. Laughing was my first reaction to that gif, sympathy 2nd

I had two of those Plano tackle boxes for decades until I switched to the soft ones with the individual plastic compartments about 5 years ago. They just got to bulky for this old man. Now each one of my sons has one.

surf casting is the best fishing.
I caught a 14 pound blue fish from the shore with fresh water gear off of Cape Cod when I was 14. Man that was fun, I can’t believe that that was just a few years ago.

Is that supposed to explain it ?
I thought the same thing when I saw them in concert last year. I didn't think, wow, they look old. I was like man, I feel old!

Later in life Kevin VanDam was my hero, from your neck of the woods. Lake St. Claire was his home lake. Youngest to win the Bass Masters tournament and the all time highest money winner in professional bass fishing.
