I posted on my tank thread a couple of days ago because I thought my duncan frags looked happy. I just took pics because they look happier this evening.

I Remember the first day dropping off and the teachers stood on the front porch with a box of tissues. It gets better. Even if they push you away make sure you hug and kiss them every day at drop off. Place a hersheys kiss in the lunch box. Little things lets them know years down the road.

My wife is going to cry, I can assure you that. I'm not sure yet about me, but I'm almost sure that I will too.

I remember my wife and I being in both of your shoes. It’s hard but when he gets home the first day and states he had a great day and made new friends it will warm your hearts, hang in there.

Yeah. dropping my first at preschool I could not believe how many parents broke down. there was a teacher on the front porch with a box of tissues just passing them out. I remember this one kid that was quite tall for his age saying Mommy, Mommy..and another parent just saying "I'm not your mommy". Then there were the other parents that were dropping off their second child. Wow, did they drive away fast!. Most important is hug your kids every day at drop off even if they resist. let them know they're loved. I tell my kids now "I don't care" I am hugging you and kissing you and don't care who sees. If you're embarrassed then bring your friends over and I'll hug them too!

only had had king crab legs and it tends to be dry an stringy. Otherwise it's been in stuffed clams I eat and you can't tell the difference. but seriously, if you add a bottle of beer to the boil, it changes the shellfish flavor and separates the meat from the shell easier. I cook lobster, clams and shrimp always this way. I use Harp later.

Yep I always add beer to my shrimp and crabs. If you dump it in really cold, it'll help with the shells like you mentioned

this is the brewing company that started white beer. they really took care of me during covid shutdown. they would cary 1-2 kegs out to my car every week.
