Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Any reason why I couldn't use this to scrape algea off my glass? I love the one that Luis recommended to me that I have but it's only about 2 inches wide and it takes me forever to do my 125 with it.

I was not impressed with the flipper. The old school mag float works just as well as this, for nowhere near the price. For that really hard to remove stuff near rocks and corners, it is useless in my experience.

For that type of gunk, I use a shorter handled version of the one you sent, made by seachem, and it works wonders for me. Im sure that one is basically the same.

I may look for a tri tip roast tomorrow for next week after hospital appt. going back in for another spinal tap. pain killers just don't cut it lately. I wear 10.5 shoes and it feels like they are size 5. one day it will eventually stop right?
I hope so brother. I hate to hear this. Keep us posted as much as you want to share, and we'll be here for you to bounce things off of

Question, heard a lot of bad things about kenya trees, anybody have any. I was looking at this

I had one. it didn't cause me problems but I didn't transfer it over. it was adhered to carribsea rock and I did not want that rock in my tank. supposedly they grow like crazy and hard to kill. but I did not see that. just damaged it too much trying to remove it.

I think I will give it a try

I like them but it's true that they spread rapidly by dropping bits of themselves. I have a space in the corner assigned to them. If they spread beyond that I pull them up and drop them in the refugium for the white spotted hermit. I've not yet observed him eating them, but they disappear and he's the only predator in their larger than pods.

If it grows too much and you need to get rid of some just remember I was the good influencer that encouraged you to shop... I think it's stunning!

I also shipped one to a Reef2Reef member in Detroit. I'd be happy to ship to anyone who would help with the shipping.

ok, but it comes with free phyto

Don't think I can do it this growing season, but everybody (smorgs) are going to get a bottle of each of my home grown hot sauce, cant wait to try the Aji Cristal pepper in a sauce compliments of John (@kingranch2003)

I have the flipper and it worked well but was bulky. I bought the Tunze and took the floating part off. It’s a lean mean glass cleaning machine.
