Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Hey man!

Sorry, Grammy and grampy stopped by and my son just spent the last 2 hours showing us dance moves and animal calls haha.
The best of times brother. It always makes my day when you drop by Mr Mike.

Not too bad! Acans are still about the same, I screwed with lighting and pulled all the lenses off my viparspectra. Wasn't the ticket so I ordered 120° lenses(factory are 90°) and gotta swap them out soon. Problem is I gotta disassemble my whole light to do it and that involves taking down my whole t5 hybrid fixture haha. The acros near the top are growing though! I'll try and get some pictures once the kid goes to bed, but my garf bonsai has encrusted the whole plug, and off onto the rock.
Already! Man I have a bare spot that needs sps. Obviously you would recommend the garf? Id love to see it when you had the chance

I think the most we had was up the nose beads. I’m assuming you must go back in a couple days to see if it went through?
Yeah im guessing so. That's the only way I'll feel comfortable. I mean this dude is part of my retirement plan. I want him to earn enough money to buy me the kind of corals Kevin and Amanda showed earlier.

Few more pictures before I go to sleep of the new corals now that are more settled in. Are they ok this close to each other for a few days until I have time to figure out where I want them permanently?
Absolutely fine Amanda. Nice choices!

Good news drunk full cup coffee bad news in ER all afternoon staying overnight
Dang buddy. That's not what you or any of us wanted to hear. Sorry for what you've been going through Tom.

I ordered from corals. I had an order from tidal gardens that used specimen cups with styro inserts in the lids and the plugs were inserted into those. Yes, great way to keep suspended and from hitting sides.

Ordered acro and stylo for the top. Just cleaned glass and changed the pvc pipe to smaller for the elegance so a few are not too happy. Had a epi yesterday so was waiting to get through that before ordering stuff. Need to order a round of emeralds and Pitho next for the bubble algae that’s been creeping up. Tough trying to reserve times to be home when medical issues pop up.

You're tank looks great Paul, and yet the whole world is still yours at this stage.

Now I catch up with you all, a complicated day today, to top it all off, tomorrow Jason is being moved to another class because the one he is in has 34 kids, he was already happy in his class, I felt very upset with that school call, honestly, he and 9 other kids are going to another class

I dont blame you. Let's hope we can look back on this as a positive. Who knows what the future may hold brother. But again, they should've never let it get to this point. It's important for the kids to have stability at this age.

So my daughter and boyfriend moved into their own place a bit ago.
They've been off and on problems for about a year, but they've been together since he was 14, her 15.
First loves.
We moved him in with us, him no father and a bad home.
He's been with us for 5 years, sort of like your own kid.
Well, drove him to a friend's in Montana today, relationship over.
Felt sorta like I lost a kid.
We weren't that close but I was the only dad he really ever had, went to graduation, etc, on and on.
That was my day off, being a dad...
Joel, my friend there is so much to unpack there. Thanks for considering us family enough to share that with us. Maybe one day down the line they can both look back on their relationship as a good thing. Everyone deserves to have love and security in some measure. It sounds like you've been that for (of course your daughter) but for this young man as well.

that breaks my heart joel. so many people like that. im sorry. i will pray for healing for all of you. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and i know he is there for you. im glad you were able to do that for him.

Sorry for everyone's rough days today! I'm home from vacation with my wife. Got home, got the dogs and car unpacked, came inside and pulled some hair algae and started working on my 3D printer. My wife's friend called her and so she went to dinner with her while I stayed home and tinkered with the printer. I felt like it got dialed in pretty good so I started a print and grabbed dinner.

My wife got home and now we're watching the OJ Simpson/Nicole Brown Simpson murder documentary on Netflix.

Yeah im guessing so. That's the only way I'll feel comfortable. I mean this dude is part of my retirement plan. I want him to earn enough money to buy me the kind of corals Kevin and Amanda showed earlier.
Along with that big tank upgrade Kev has on order!

Wow, once again I find myself face to face with perfection and beauty, Kevin.
@VintageReefer these were the corals I was trying to show you the other day. Just look how bright they are!
Those were incredible, I’m glad didn’t hold my breath waiting for the pics because when I saw them I forgot to breathe!

I’ll post some of my gems to contribute
