What dp you do about worm food? I feel like mine goes moldy before I can use a 1/4 of it

I use plain whole milk Greek yogurt with yeast, oats and I alternate TDO pellets, flakes and crushed up dry cat food.

Im enjoying growing sps a lot They look great in the tank, and watching them grow has been so much fun. I have a few acros and mostly montis and anacropora. I've got a little more room on the rock tower then ill probably add another rock style frag rack on the tops of the sides.

That is a VERY common problem. I AlgaeFixed my tank this spring to get it under control. Fluconazole is almost magical against Bryopsis (a fern-like algae) and works pretty good against GHA but it may have trouble removing it in darker areas so still pull algae even during treatment. Make sure you keep your nutrients down but you can go to all zeros on Nitrate Phosphate and still have growing algae, until dinos take over. Nutrient control won't fix algae issues but they can make them worse. What do you have for CuC? A good CuC squad, manual intervention and grazing fish can control it once you get it back under control.

I hope everyone has had a better evening than I have. First my husband had a bad reaction to his allergy shots and gave me a scare, then I get home and Leo is limping really bad. I called my vet and she was on her way to another clients when she finished she came to my house to check him out. He has pulled his muscles and his tendon on the lower right leg. She gave him pain meds and muscle relaxers if he's not doing better in a week I will have to figure out a way to restrict his movement by fencing off a small part of the pasture for him to be in until he's better. Thankfully she thinks he should make a full recovery. It broke my heart watching him limp he really didn't want to put weight on that leg.

Been a minute since I did Katahdin. Bad in my rebel years. I hiked up with a 76lb bag, and made everyone help drink all my booze that night and hiked down with a 32lb bag hahaha.

I'm only going to the bottom and looking up.

How long before it gets fuzzy mold stuff on it? Because the only whole milk Greek yogurt is expensive name brand and it molds within like 4 days. Do you make small batches or one big one?

Cuc is a total mix right now.
A strawberry conch
Serpent star
Giant knobby creeper
Tux urchin
40 dwarf ceriths (never see them)
Multitude of nassarius
One whelk
3 turbo snails
3 top crown snails
1-2 ox tounge nerites
1 Astrea/turbo I don't really know what it is maybe a tent snail.
All snails barely eat gha and tux is lazy.

Yea, she's doing pretty good! My clowns ate its tail but it seems to be growing back! She doesnt eat anything I out in my tank, but the pods alone are keeping her a healthy weight!

I have a rainbow hammer too but its recovering from my heater fiasco I think. Shortly after that its acting like its tips got singed. Seems like some new ones are filling out and the flesh band isn't receding..

That chalice was one of my first corals! Almost lost it when a large vermatid made his home between the chalice plug and the rock. Got lucky and noticed its mouth one day and pulled the chalice and saved it. Couldn't tell from where it was but lost a good 20% of the flesh where the vermatid was irritating it! Finally looking happy again!
