Tux urchin
40 dwarf ceriths (never see them)
Multitude of nassarius
One whelk
3 turbo snails
3 top crown snails
1-2 ox tounge nerites
1 Astrea/turbo I don't really know what it is maybe a tent snail.
All snails barely eat gha and tux is lazy.

Most CuC can't, or at least won't, tackle long GHA. If you pluck an area they should finish it off and keep it short as long as they don't have alternatives. The dwarf ceriths are mostly nocturnal but you should see at least a few on the glass after lights out. You have a nice mix but I would add a half dozen to a dozen Trochus (one of my favorites), maybe a dozen or so Florida or Cortez ceriths and MAYBE a couple small hermits. I'd also consider adding maybe a half dozen Checkered Nerites and Astreas. That's a lot of CuC but you need bio-helpers at this point and when it is all cleared up they will self regulate.

I use plain whole milk Greek yogurt with yeast, oats and I alternate TDO pellets, flakes and crushed up dry cat food.

Yea, she's doing pretty good! My clowns ate its tail but it seems to be growing back! She doesnt eat anything I out in my tank, but the pods alone are keeping her a healthy weight!

wow, and the clown are still alive? Mandarins are poisonous. typically another fish takes a bite and ends belly up. Mine was biota but eats PE Mysis and PE Pellets. Obviously pods too but she does swim to the surface and skims it for those tiny pellets.

I hope everyone has had a better evening than I have. First my husband had a bad reaction to his allergy shots and gave me a scare, then I get home and Leo is limping really bad. I called my vet and she was on her way to another clients when she finished she came to my house to check him out. He has pulled his muscles and his tendon on the lower right leg. She gave him pain meds and muscle relaxers if he's not doing better in a week I will have to figure out a way to restrict his movement by fencing off a small part of the pasture for him to be in until he's better. Thankfully she thinks he should make a full recovery. It broke my heart watching him limp he really didn't want to put weight on that leg.

How long before it gets fuzzy mold stuff on it? Because the only whole milk Greek yogurt is expensive name brand and it molds within like 4 days. Do you make small batches or one big one?

Yea, they avoided it for quite awhile. It was the only fish that was allowed anywhere near their spawn site. I dont think they ingested any of it, just slowly shredded it. That or it was my blenny that swam into my mp40. Maybe he was hallucinating.

That chalice was one of my first corals! Almost lost it when a large vermatid made his home between the chalice plug and the rock. Got lucky and noticed its mouth one day and pulled the chalice and saved it. Couldn't tell from where it was but lost a good 20% of the flesh where the vermatid was irritating it! Finally looking happy again!

It's crazy how resilient corals can be. Vermetid are so annoying. Bumblebee snails have helped keep mine at bay.

It's crazy how resilient corals can be. Vermetid are so annoying. Bumblebee snails have helped keep mine at bay.

I think i'll be ordering some more cuc soon. I have 4 or 5 bumblebees right now. Might get another dozen or so and a bunch of other smaller rock dwellers
