Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Yes I did! Sorry I had hw that I need to get done just forget to send them.
Does not look like that stuff made much of a difference huh!

do you guys QT? if you do, what products are you using / time length of QT etc.
Yes i qt. I am no expert but others can help. qt with copper 2-3 weeks

No...

DISCLAIMER:

Don't follow my example!
I know patience is key, but 60+ days just for the fish to entire my DT is so long lol.
i know once first paid or fish are in, my patience will improve lol

Yeah ik. I am going to do another round.

What is the reactor?
What does rowaphos do?
It's a BRS reactor. Simple, straightforward and it works.
Rowaphos is a phosphate remover, like gfo but it's own thing kind of.

thats kind of what i'm looking for, if people are going the full 60+ days or doing a short version if fish are acting normal for a couple weeks.

Does the reactor remove phosphate?

I think 60+ days is a bit extreme. If the fish has any problems you should see it in the first week or so. Make sure it is swimming and eating normally. And make sure it doesn’t have ich, velvet, brook, etc. mine get qt for 2 weeks and every is healthy

Yes.
The reactor doesn't the media inside does.
I will help you all the way.
Cool, but I don’t have high phosphate lol

And I also think it depends on where you got the fish

Whatever your test reads imagine twice more bound up just in the hair algae.
You can't get a reading for that.
If you were able to test the algae I bet it would read high.
It's just a suggestion to help that doesn't involve adding anything.
Rowa is great stuff.
I was at .16. I added 3 tbls Rowa mixed with 1/2 cup carbon and took it to 0 in a week.
Not suggesting you take it to 0 but it might alleviate your problem or at least help.

Yeah I totally understand what you are saying. I just don’t want to take the risk and bottom out my phosphate. I had that problem and lost corals
