Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
My brain read it as monkey, probably because of the topic. I didn't even notice it until you mentioned. Unlike Kevin's disturbing coffee pot post this morning.
yeah, I don't think anyone will ever accept a cup of coffee from him now! (no, don't say it!)

I'm sure the good 'ole boys in Heidelberg will be happy to hunt them down!
I don't give them until dawn. I don't care how smart these monkeys are, there not going to out smart those beagles on their home turf.

this pump is a bit more pricey but they are nice and slim and allow for shallow pumping. But even a simple ATO pump. takes longer but us old peeps need to modify things as we age.
I love Aquaillumination products. I've had my two Nero 3s for two years now, and never had a problem. I also had my Ai Prime 16, which illuminated my Biocube 32, and I gave that one away, the person still uses it. I also had one of those pumps.

I didnt know you had a nero 3. Later when we're both not busy, I may ask you a few questions about programming the schedule if you dont mind brother. I love Aquaillumination also. I have the Nero 3, axis 40, and my light is the radion xr15. No complaints on any of them.

Here are the new corals. The hammer is small, but appears to be a true orange.

The "pink" goni isn't as pink in person as it appears in the picture, but for the price, that's a nice healthy little colony. Maybe it'll brighten up as I move it up in the tank after lights acclimation.

Basic bali slimer. Appears healthy and polyps are extending. I just needed a little pop of green on my rock work.

I bought the axis 40 specifically for rapid WC. Afterwards I found it faster to just use a 1/2 gal pitcher. I think it's what Vetteguy has been doing now. he does like a 1/2 gal everyday instead of big changes. or maybe it was Jay. I have a Hydra 32 but upgraded to the Natura which is an awesome light.

I have two, shoot when you're ready

I also have a fair amount of AI product (3 x Prime 16 HD, 2 x Blade Grow, 3 x Nero 3) but none are currently on a tank. I removed the Neros because their throw just isn't enough for a 4 foot tank and I removed the 3 Primes and 2 Blades when got the Meridian. I still like the AI gear though and will use it again where appropriate.
