What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Actually, that felt like therapy to me! I unhooked so many stupid stripers that my thumb was tore up from those teeth but my shoulder felt great! It was the glassing (here in AZ we have to use binoculars to find animals) that seemed to affect my shoulder negatively.
Lifting pots of potatoes off the stove did mine in.
Just take it easy on it Tim I know how painful it can be and annoying as well.
It's hard when you're so used to doing something then have to change how you pick up stuff, move, etc.
I'm right there with you brother.

I was told it's likely rotator cuff but she tested my range of motion and the only pain and lack of motion today makes her feel like it's inflammation inside my shoulder rather than a tear or anything serious.
Excellent!

Ive been thinking about getting some old slot machines from the warehouse at work. They have to be older than 25 years for me to legally own them. As I've searched the building, ive come across some much older ones and some that are Japanese. Im not sure why the older ones are there, gambling didnt become legal here until 1992.
Those are from the secret days John...

ive got an olds pinball machine in our garage. works great! its easy to lose time when i get to playing it 🫣
I used to have a couple old ones in my living room.
An old galaga machine too.
My buddy used to buy them and fix them up.
I lent him money to get started and that's how he paid me.
Then I met my wife...

I’ve gotten to play a couple arcade machines but sadly missed the culture around it. Here’s a photo of me setting a high score on a dig dug machine this year!

My son has this game on his mini Pac-Man arcade! He's been playing it non stop for a couple weeks now. Ill show him this, he'll get a kick out of it!

I'm ok too guys! I went to the doctor for my shoulder this morning (finally according to @Fish Styx ) and they gave me a shot to reduce swelling and told me to follow up if it gets worse. Maybe a minor tear, nothing serious.
So glad you are ok!

That makes sense. I know that you mean about the tore up fingers. Our speckled trout cause that same thing with their 1 and a half teeth lol

Muskies are no joke!

That’s awesome! They are super fun. I worked at a hardware store when I was a kid and they had a few slots just set up for fun.

Even the mechanical ones are pretty complex. You might be able to find someone on here who works on them

I appreciate this site reference, my friend. My 9 year old is an old soul, and he's been wanting a vintage pinball machine (dont we all?) He still likes looking, so he'll enjoy this.

If I stay in their good graces, ill maybe ask one of the IGT techs or slot techs to comb the slots over, and give me an opinion. The old Japanese one is bonkers. You should see all the fireworks and fan fare lol
I wish Id taken a video

Hi everyone! My husband shot a small doe this evening and that ended my evening hunt because I had to go under a fence into the farmers pasture we lease from and help him track it because I'm better at seeing blood than he is and more patient... Lol
