@kingranch2003 no. One younger brother still rebuilds vintage brass cash registers and another one rebuilds pinball machines. I've rebuilt an old Pachinko machine but never worked on a slot machine. The pinballs and Pachinko were coin-ops but we disabled that on them.

Actually, that felt like therapy to me! I unhooked so many stupid stripers that my thumb was tore up from those teeth but my shoulder felt great! It was the glassing (here in AZ we have to use binoculars to find animals) that seemed to affect my shoulder negatively.

That makes sense. I know that you mean about the tore up fingers. Our speckled trout cause that same thing with their 1 and a half teeth lol

Ive been thinking about getting some old slot machines from the warehouse at work. They have to be older than 25 years for me to legally own them. As I've searched the building, ive come across some much older ones and some that are Japanese. Im not sure why the older ones are there, gambling didnt become legal here until 1992.

Man I miss the arcade days.... At least I got to experience them lol.

I was just mentioning that I had run across some old slot machines at work. I believe they may be 70s. Im hoping they're a bit more mechanical than the circuit board creatures they have today. Im not sure if there is a market for them. Some of the Japanese machines are incredible when they're operating.

actually its the fat layer under the skin, pigs have a fat layer that 1/2 to 1 inch thick under there skin

I’ve gotten to play a couple arcade machines but sadly missed the culture around it. Here’s a photo of me setting a high score on a dig dug machine this year!

I was told it's likely rotator cuff but she tested my range of motion and the only pain and lack of motion today makes her feel like it's inflammation inside my shoulder rather than a tear or anything serious.

Glad to hear that. Even if it is inflammation, it will take a while to heal unless you immobilize your shoulder.

That’s awesome! They are super fun. I worked at a hardware store when I was a kid and they had a few slots just set up for fun.

Even the mechanical ones are pretty complex. You might be able to find someone on here who works on them

The old pinball machines are great. We had three of them on the enclosed patio when I was growing up. I think my youngest brother has something like 15 or 20 of them last time I checked. I could spend hours playing on them. I really like the old all-mechanical ones, the sounds from the solenoids and gears just added to the excitement. I'm probably better off I don't have one here, I manage to misuse my time pretty effectively without the additional distraction of a pinball machine.
