What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I grew up outside Cleveland and used to drive to Pittsburg two or three times a year to a Kroger warehouse to buy out-of-service cash registers, refurbish them and rent them out in Northeast Ohio.

When I was in customer service my territory was from the Flats in Cleveland, OH to Syracuse, NY and as far south as Orrville. Put a lot of miles on a car.
Hello Tom! How's the tank coming along brother?

In my younger years I had some great times in the flats! Before moving to Ohio we lived just outside Syracuse in Fayetteville.
St. Paty's was always; interesting in the Flats. They used to have volunteers with pickup trucks cruise the streets in the Flats on St. Paty's to throw the drunks by the side of the road in the bed and drive them around till they sobered up or to the hospital as needed.

I accidently deleted the first paragraph of my previous post. There are a surprising number of Steelers fans around where I live, many are transplants from the Midwest but I know at least a few that I don't think have ever been east of the Mississippi.

Is it okay to talk about reef tanks on this thread? 🤣

It's doing, okayish. I need to bump up the flow a little, I've just about lost the birdnest to STN but everything else is doing well. The Pithos are finally making a noticeable dent in the bubble algae in the cracks and crevices; I need to get a new stock of Berghia soon as the Aiptasia are making a return and apparently the previous stock finally died out but they lasted for a good six months after I could no longer find any Aiptasia where they could get to them; the Bristletooth seems to dislike the Firefish now so the Firefish pretty much just hangs out in its cave now; the Bluetti is hooked up the return pump for some piece of mind and the Meridian is working great.

I've been having a few issues with bending over still so I haven't mounted the power brick for the Meridian to the control board yet, or cleaned up the wiring, and the Bluetti is just plugged into my control board power strip instead of to the gang plug but overall I'm pretty happy with things. I even finally found something that eats the Reef Blizzard pellets I bought a few years ago, the Duncan and the Fungia both seem to like it. I've switched from ATI Essentials 2-Part to AFR and that seems to be going well. I was using some Elimi-NP for light carbon dosing but I think I will be switching to Bacto-Balance pretty soon.

Sounds like things are going along swimingly well!

I'm ok too guys! I went to the doctor for my shoulder this morning (finally according to @Fish Styx ) and they gave me a shot to reduce swelling and told me to follow up if it gets worse. Maybe a minor tear, nothing serious.

Praying for you man. You don't need that garbage. That's from all those hook sets

Good morning Tom, ditto! I live about an hour from both Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Unfortunately a lot of black and gold in my town.
Id like to provide you guys with an alternative black and gold.

@tharbin With your family business and background with registers, do you ever tinker with old slot machines or any other coin op?

Actually, that felt like therapy to me! I unhooked so many stupid stripers that my thumb was tore up from those teeth but my shoulder felt great! It was the glassing (here in AZ we have to use binoculars to find animals) that seemed to affect my shoulder negatively.

I was told it's likely rotator cuff but she tested my range of motion and the only pain and lack of motion today makes her feel like it's inflammation inside my shoulder rather than a tear or anything serious.
