Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Follow the directions. Or go less than the directions say. And remember to account for rocks and sand. I usually say about 80%-85% of your system volume is actual water volume.
I usually guestimate at 80% for display and 40%-50% for sump since they usually run lower.

I have a 80% for the 75 gallon and 40-50% for sump . Doesn’t the sump run through the 75 gallon or should I disconnect from the main tank ?? So 75 gallon and 15 gallon sump .

If I'm understanding your tank/sump sizes correctly,

Add together the volumes so
-75 gallon display at 80% = 60 gallons
-15 gallon sump at 50% = 7.5 gallons

Total volume 67.5 gallons I'd round down so figure about 65 gallons total.

Then how much water change afterward 10,20,30, gallons or do a fifty percent ??
Someone more familiar with Chemiclean usage should answer the others.

I've only used it once and I don't remember if I followed the directions for the water change... 😬

I believe I did a 10% change one day and another 10% change two or 3 days later.

Thanks all info will be helpful!

Useful things for making trouble ——- sounds like a album cover and name
Lol my wife and I play a game called "Band, album or song"? If we hear a phrase like that we pick which one of the 3 it reminds us of
