What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Did I ever tell you about the time I was on the way to the Republican National Convention... or, wait, it might have been the Democratic National Convention... or, wait, I believe it was a Reefing Convention. Anyways, there I was, driving my car and minding my own business when I drove up on a broken down bus. So, being the kind, caring and compassionate soul that I am, I pulled over to see if I could be of assistance. Would you believe me if I told you that it was the bus that transports the Swedish Bikini Team around the country. As soon as I learned that the Swedish Bikin Team was inside the bus, I turned off my manly manness. But it was too late. They had already gotten a glimpse of it. One by one they approached me and tried to tempt me. There were even a few of them that attempted tempting me, at the same time. Try as they might, I did not give in because I am a manly man who stays true to my word and promise. Turned out that the bus had a very dirty air filter in it which I removed, banged on the ground, in a way that only a manly man can, and replaced. I told the driver to start it up but it still didn't start. So, I did what only a manly man would do and banged on the hood like The Fonz. Told the driver to start it again and VROOOM! Fired right up. All I could hear as I walked back to my car was the sound of Swedish bikini models sobbing.

Oh, wait, maybe none of this happened to me but I read about it in a letter some guy named Zeb wrote to a group called the Artesians. Man, I cannot recall now as I sometimes battle between which is right and which is an illusion.

Looks like you lost but won, @Red_Beard and will have to suffer through a Bavarian cream donut in the morning.

I gave it some thought and think it was a letter from Zack to the Polynesians. I still am not sure though.

Spent some time with Polynesians. Fun dudes. Big dudes, with good senses of humor.

You guys n gals are awesome, hope you know that.

No matter you religious or political affiliation, i think that pauls words to the Ephesians bear some thought and i hope you'll grant me the latitude to quote it here.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

I believe that there are 2 forces on this earth, however you want to define or name them. Good, light, hope and peace. And wickedness, darkness, sorrow and hate. It is really easy to get tied up in conflict. Me vs them, but like paul said, people arent the problem, no matter which side they are on. If we allow ourselves to be influenced negatively to get worked up to any degree of hate, we've already lost.
I am all for discourse, discussion and debate, i think it necessary and good. But as soon as we let ourselves be influenced by those negative inclinations, we close down real communication and from that point there are no winners save it be the powers of darkness.

One more quick story and i will let it be.
On a farm in the days of horse and buggy, a young boy found a felling wedge, the big iron ones lumberjacks pound into saw cuts. While he was playing he set it between the limbs of a young walnut tree his father had planted. He remembered he was late for dinner and forgot all about the wedge. It sat between those limbs forgotten, untill many years later. The boy eventually inherited his fathers farm and the young walnut tree had grown mighty and strong, until one fateful night. in
An ice storm, that the proud tree should have weathered without issue, added some weight and with a mighty 'snap' one of the main limbs fell off. The loss of that limb caused the whole tree to become unbalanced and uproot. Hearing the noise, the once boy ran out to inspect the damage and there, right in the first break, was the wedge he had years ago forgotten. The tree had grown around it and swallowed it up. What would have been something that caused no damage at all, left neglected, took down the whole tree.

Edit: plus its mostly Chris's fault ;)
Thank you for this.

Most people seem to start with Nannochloropsis. I have both Nanno and Tetra. The Tetra doesn't get as dark green in my cultures as the Nanno.

Perfect! I actually ordered some Nanno that arrives today. I prefer if it changes color more so I know it’s more ready to harvest. I hear if you culture it yourself it’s usually not as strong so it’s good to dose a decent amount.

Classic BRC (Beans, Rice, and Chicken) from El Pollo Loco

No pictures but I also had a Chicken Taco al Carbon and a churro. Chased it all with a strawberry hibiscus.
We have the pollo loco, a staple Mexican item at our restaurants, but I have never heard of a Pollo Loco Resturant before

@Üter, maybe I missed it, but any update on the heat situation?

Oh man those are amazing! What is that second one it almost looks like its ruffled.
It is a Platygyra, also known as Maze Coral

The green part is the tissue, and like most other LPS it can expand and contract. When it expands it has a molten ooze look!

You must’ve messed up their air filter.
