Do you think I should remove filter socks/floss & carbon when adding it. I think it mentioned something about that but I was thinking of just leaving it. Maybe its bad to leave it though. Not sure if carbon counts as filter media as well.

Thanks WB , the OCD level isn’t a problem but I’m considering getting a bigger tank .

If it helps your decision any, my wife has said 'no more glass tanks'. She really likes the aesthetics of an acrylic tank. They are clearer, they don't have silicone seams, and they are quieter. In addition to that, they are much easier to move at a fraction of the weight of a comparable glass tank, they are many times more crack resistant, and, if made by a good fabricator, the seams will last forever. I qualify that because my tank, while made by a good fabricator company, was a prototype tank that was assembled by a junior staff member and I have some seam issues caused by poor welding technique. Even so, my tank is sound but I do check once a month to make sure everything is okay. On most acrylic tanks seam issues are just not a thing.

My shipment came today.
Everything seemed dead but god works in amazing ways. All freezing cold.
Arrow crab came back and is currently recovering as we speak. Very critical condition
Emerald crabs don't stink but immobile. Their all sitting on a rock now no sign of life but I should give them time
Astrea snails are just in snail shock but they didn't stink they need to recover from the cold.
Blue tonga hammer is alive. Full skeleton showing and muscus everywhere. Alive though
Pray to god.

I did a thing. Lets hope I don't come to regret it. I got a very good deal on a fish for $150. He is in my 25 gallon while my 80 gallon cycles and is just a little baby fish!
