Funny enough, I like tofu dishes. One asian place near us had a spicy tofu dish that was incredible. Sadly, tofu, depending on how it is cleaned, can tear you up.

I wounder how hard it would be to build a freshwater tank that looks saltwater, then put some African cichlids in it

I had a big tank full of AC's several years ago. It was one of my favorite tanks and the closest looking setup to saltwater looks IMO

I had a big tank full of AC's several years ago. It was one of my favorite tanks and the closest looking setup to saltwater looks IMO

I actually was severely addicted to freshwater, i ran close to 14 breeder tanks for danios, fancy guppies, and albino cory cats, which a LFS bought from me until he went out of business. The guppies were easy, worked mine down to two types, yellow/black and orange/black, the danios were not to much trouble. The cory cats were the hardest to get to lay eggs and touch and go if the eggs were fertilized or not.

I think #2 is what I would go with. Simple but effective. Nicely done.

Thinking of ditching socks and going with floss (flat roll 1 inch thick) so with that in mind, what do you think of this. not worried about any noise from the weir.

I'm the exact same way. My minimum goal every day is 100oz of water. What's funny is that prior to college, I never drank water, but slowly developed a habit for it. Now I can't go more than 20 minutes without getting a sip of water. I keep a 32oz Yeti on my at all times filled with water, and whenever we go places, I always pack bottles of water on top of it because of how much I drink
