Gotta love the meat corals! 10 years? I've had mine for 2 and thought I was doing something lol. Those are incredible shots. What do you feed yourself to get such a reaction?
You know I have gone from feeding it everything from pellets, every lps food on the market to a plethora of frozen foods. Or nothing at all. I think for me having nitrates and phosphates along with medium flow works. I almost lost it about 4 years ago. Was like a hard rock. So I made it the plexiglass cage with dozens of holes drilled into it. Fed it through the holes on top. Darn thing is still alive after some of my best attempts to kill it! Hope to have it for another ten. It has 3 mouths. I am sure I paid to much for it. 😂

The date on the last photo is Monday, December 27, 2021 at 4:54 PM. That was taken after it came back from whatever I did to almost kill it.

Two years is not shabby. So many folks can't keep them at all. So sad.😞

I can relate to this. I have no "special " food for mine. I think it has a lot to do with tank parameters like you mentioned.

Is this the rehab Pic? I noticed it right away and thought, "something intentional is going on there".

Here's mine, it's classified more as a wellsophyllia morph of the trachyphyllia family, I guess.

Our tanks mirror each others. I even have the same plate coral.

Yes I was rehabbing in that photo. Thought my little goby was pestering it to much. It made a remarkable recovery. But I have more flow now than when it almost died. Go figure.

It's the small things that matter.

I have found that the insanity plate loves a little extra flow!

She even has a skirt for it.

Thank you! A tank isn't a tank without almost too many wrasse.

I've been thinking of new ways to add more zoas (and wrasse) to my tank. What an insane color pop they add!

Thanks for the suggestion. I took mine off the plug it was on. Nasty little aiptasia rearing its head. Then had to put it on a new frag plug because my snails kept burying it. Can't wait for it to grow as large as yours.

You must give me wrasse suggestions. Ones that won't eat my crocea!

I have to hit the gym in a few hours. Going to get a few hours of shut eye.

@code4 @Nor'easter Reefer Then there's Sweetlips! The only coral I've ever seen with a grown lady's mouth lol.

She's currently fighting for the top spot in the Reef2Reef POTM contest right now!

Try not to laugh.

You did right by getting it on a plug early on. If they're not adhered to something, they will inflate and move around your tank.

Sweetlips isn't on a plug and I have to move her back to her spot 3 or 4 times a month lol.

Here's this goofy gal pressed against the glass, trying to move past the scoly and escape.

Goodnight everyone. I would say that I was sorry for all the messages you have to read in the morning, but that would mean I actually care. @That Crusso Kid that was for you.

And so is this

@tharbin

@Calmwaters Magnesium! IYKYK

@kevgib67 I haven't seen any oyster pics yet!

If you, or anyone in your party likes them, go in a restaurant and ask if they have Apalachicola oysters. Trust me.

We just put a new one on the clinics tank. And several of mine are newer ones. Willing to swap the one out if needed for one of mine.

People come into the clinic and look at the tank. It is great. I will do whatever it takes to make it work.

I was thinking CUC and peaceful fish are a priority for stocking first.'
I get this I have a freshwater tank in my office and the patients and their children love it!

Good Morning Peeps!
winter sure is trying to hang on. highs are back to 50 during the day.
but I'm still plugging away. Don't stop me now!

I see how you are now. You laugh at my wish for good feelings today then turn around and give Amanda hugs for her typical "amazing day" post. I put some thought and energy into a my posts every morning and you laugh. Don't think you're fooling anyone, mister. I am onto your methods.

(No offense, Amanda but keep your eyes open for the sneaky ways of @Üter . Next thing you know, he'll be inviting you up for a "nice" ride in his boat.)
