What does everyone treat their corals with before adding them to the tank?

Thanks everyone. Next question for the picture of the coral I shared is $75 too much? I am thinking it might be but wanted to be sure. I'm not buying it just wondering if my LFS is charging too much.

Sounds reasonable to me they look good whatever they are.

Yes, I would say it’s a good deal for a torch with at least three heads, better yet if it hes a 24k gold color.

Ok I wasn't sure. They also have small wedge pieces of a brownish color Montipora for $25 the widest part is maybe an inch.

I'm not the big coral guy but I think nowadays if something looks super healthy and you can trust the source I don't mind paying what they want for it.
I mean $25 buys hardly anything now.
I bought a steak the other day for $31!!!!
I say go for it! :)
I paid $65 for my hawkfish and didn't even think about it. He was super healthy that's all I cared about.

I don't know what kind it is exactly but if it's still there Thursday I might buy it if you guys think it will be ok in my tank. I noticed today I think I'm getting a little bit of diatom algea so I'm for sure going to get more cuc if they get any in. Right now all they have are Astrid snails and turbo snails.
