Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I wish I didn’t have to give this update, Jennifer is back in the hospital. She is having a very difficult time breathing and will be going for a CT to rule out an embolism. Those of you who believe in the power of prayer, please step it up. I know this is the last place she wants to be.
She is a warrior and has been through worse, without taking away the seriousness of the problem, this is just a cold for a woman as brave as her, lots of strength and hugs

Home with Ruby gave her the medicine and some of my supper... The cone is kind of cute it says under construction and hug me, spoil me, kiss me, I'll be back and be nice.

I am very happy for you and your family Amanda that Ruby is already in home.

I made a stupid mistake. I was using an uncalibrated thermometer to set up my inkbird, which led me to think I was calibrating it correctly. Turns out I set the tank to 87.4 rather than 78 like what I thought it would be. It's probably been above 85 for 4 hours max. My question is, do I lower it back down to 78; or do I lower it to 84 overnight, then sometime tomorrow slowly lower it down to 78? Or because it hasn't been too long do I lower it back to 78?

Lower slowly. Temperature spikes up and down can affect corals/fish.

Okay. Thats what I thought. It already spiked up, so I hope it hadn't done any damage. Do you think it'd be good to set the inkbird to 85? Then in the morning to 82, then tommorow evening to 80?

That'd probably work.
