Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Does anyone have any tips on catching problematic fish? My yellow damsel was bad enough when he harassed my other fish and invertebrates, but now he's after my corals. The ones that have been in there for a while are ok, but he knocks my new ones around. I'm pretty sure he killed my meteor shower cyphastrea after he attacked it. I don't think it'll recover. My rock work is set up where I can't get really good swipes with my net, but I have a big one that does fit in there. I'd really hate to have to rip it all out because it's all connected (pic). Any ideas? I don't know how well a trap would work. This fish has my progress on hold. 20240529_174857.jpg 20240710_145745.jpg

I believe they sell fish traps. You will probably catch and release a few fish before you get your damsel. I wouldn’t want to tear my rock scape apart either. To bad, a beautiful fish!

Yeah I think I'll look into them. I feel like it may be my only option, unless I get lucky with the net. I really hate that he became so mean. He even gets mad at empty hermit shells and will knock my snails off the glass.

I got an update from my friend earlier in the day. The surgery went well, thankfully. She obviously is in a ton of pain because of how big the surgery was, but now each day should get easier and easier; and hopefully this is the end of a very rough period of her life. I will keep you all updated on how she is doing when I here from her again. Please keep her and Jennifer in your thoughts.

I’ll keep them both in my thoughts and prayers Walker!
