Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Ahh don't worry about those people. I deal with them all the time. People have their ways, and usually, they have the mindset that that's the only way to be successful.

I'd say post it if you're comfortable. If not, you can make something exclusively for the Smorgasborg fam to read.
Thanks Walker you are a very good man.
That made my whole day, which was like the Indy 500 ;)

wish me luck! im attempting to read this whole thread. want to get a better feel for who you all are and what your tanks look like!:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
Good luck Jill...! Talk to you in three months once you've finally finished reading!

I am thinking of starting a thread about my modified skimmer but I have a really hard time with the interesting folks, don't know if that's the right word or not, who reply.
The thread is really for beginners and those who maybe can't spend a lot of money.
What do you all think?
Yea or nay?
Yes!

The difficult people as @smitten with ocean life put it Walker.
There's always the naysayers and it's not in my personality to respond to that.
It's also hard since so many people have to buy everything new and I buy everything used.
For the record, I have ignored a total of 1 person on this forum. I am probably slightly different than you in that I am a highly sarcastic person. Most of you on this forum don't know that I tend to be a real jerk when I want to, because I don't want to be with most of this forum.

With that said, I really enjoy dealing with the difficult people at times. I much prefer dealing with this fine group and the Café inhabitants over stupid people any day. This group is super friendly and the Café gives me my dose of sarcasm (sorry Kevin, you're sarcastic but...).

you might be surprised how many of us there are who also buy used;)
Not me! I got my tank for free. I pulled it out of a dumpster.

You've heard of a dumpster fire? Well, the fire came first, then the dumpster, then my truck bed, then my garage, then my backyard, then my dining room...

Another "for the record"...

I got your back. I'll be the bouncer.

I only had a steak and 6 pieces of bacon and a large water.
But that's OK I cooked enough food for one day.
