Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Been busy today, did some regular tank maint a couple of days early to free me up for the weekend, wife and I are doing some crappie fishing this weekend. I did put together a feeder box my wife's son who is keeping check on our dog and going to feed the fish while we are gone for a few days in February. Have portions set up, so all he has to do is drop them in the box once a day. also been cutting some steel for the T and L braces for the light mount I am working on. still have to drill the holes in the box sides, but here is a pic of it so far

note: not my usual hole pattern that I drill, I usually drill it in a Yuengling Flight pattern

That’s pretty cool!

I have my grandfathers records from WW2
He also served in the first infantry division just like me and fought at that battle of the bulge as a tank commander. He looks just like my oldest son.
I have before the war in military uniform and after and the transformation is insane. I will take a picture and share.
Thank you for sharing!!
Yes please do! That's how we keep their memory alive man.

Is this good algae or bad algae? It’s orangish/red.

I think at this stage of your tank it's likely not good or bad, just part of the normal cycle of a tank as it ages and becomes more stable.

Year is 1980 today.
Which I don't remember at all.
But here goes....

I started 1st grade in 1980. Once I remembered that it brought up a lot of memories. The next summer we moved 400 miles east, so I don't know any of the kids I went to 1st grade with anymore, although I remember a name or two.

I started 1st in 1970, the year Chattahoochee county desegregated, I still have life long friends from that time, i still live in the same small town

Thank you for selling me the light!!! I love it.

Hey, everyone!!! I’m new to reefing! Trying to learn as I go. It has been an amazing journey so far and I can’t wait to add more fish and color! I have learned a lot from everyone here!
I thought you would never get here, welcome!

Appreciate it. I'm mostly passionate about this hobby but I'm beggining to get an addiction of looking at Pontiac fieros and Nissan skylines. No not a pontiac like grandma's car I'm talking about the sports kind IE a fiero. I also like Toyota MR6s.
The more you want out of life, the harder you'll work. Go for it. Just be safe.

Ah man look at what my boys did today.
Arg!!

Now the fun begins. This is where I would get several more vehicles stuck trying to get the bobcat out lol

Awesome Luis! Did you frag your zoas or are those new frags you just got?
Those are my bam bam zoas, I frag them because they were killing my super saiyan zoas and the anacropora

@Usarmy227 Welcome brother! Glad to have you. Sometimes when we get past music, beer and food... we do talk about reefs once in a while. Here are a couple pictures of my tank to prove it!

I have some in my tank and they are growing like concrete. Almost nothing the SpongeBob zoas next to them are going to win that battle, I think. They were the same size colony when I got them
