I'm not sure she was a Khaki duck and they have white eggs I'm not sure about other ducks. Her name was Mrs.Quackers and she stood argue with my husband...

I've looked at the black/green ducks. I forget what they're called now. They were quackless.

I googled it they are Muscovy ducks it says they hiss personally I think I would rather have one quack at me than I would hiss at me. Lol

I just googled ducks that don't quack and that was the first one that came up so there must be more than one that doesn't quack. You never know what you'll learn here on the Smorgasbord. Lol

I just had two but one was a male and he had to go so I have him to someone with a big pond and other ducks. Just having the one female wasn't too bad we had a kiddie pool for her.

I have 10 silver apple yards, 3 mallards, 2 Indian runners and a Pekin. All went to camp Kenmore, all were delicious. They destroyed my yard... and made such a mess... if i had a pond, I might try it again, but the amount of water they went through...

I have 10 silver apple yards, 3 mallards, 2 Indian runners and a Pekin. All went to camp Kenmore, all were delicious. They destroyed my yard... and made such a mess... if i had a pond, I might try it again, but the amount of water they went through...

They are very messy for sure but also like you said very tasty... I just had mine for eggs but then a predator got her.

I did like the eggs as well. I had one drake that was my best friend I liked him. I'd walk him around the garden and when I saw a slug I'd hold him out and he'd eat it :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
