Guys this may be my last post for today. We are having to put my oldest and bestest food but to rest. I have had him 14 years and he was 3 when I adopted him. He will leave a huge hole in my heart.... He's got a lot of medical issues and while I don't want it to be and it's going to hurt to say good bye it's hurting worse to see him in the pain and having the amount of seizures he's having now.

TDS need to be 0
and depending on the use, but it is advisable to change the filters at least once a year, I do it every 6 months, whether they are dirty or not, just as a precaution.

Did you end up using the dino-x?

no, it was a last resort kind of thing, plus if you don't fix the reason you have a dino infestation , they will come back

Totally understand. I'm slowing increasing my N & P and will use a small UV sterilizer to battle the brown snot. My UV comes today for the 40g temporary tank. I have a 40 watt UV for my new build, but... thinking that might be a touch overkill. Honestly, I just don't want to set that monstrous thing up, so I bought a small Green Machine that I can just use in the tank. I've heard good reviews on them for battling Dinos.
