Luis, I'm really thinking it's the nutrients. With that amount of po4 (which I know you're working on), you would want 150 nitrates. Or, with that amount of nitrates, you'd want .4 po4. You really want to aim for nitrates to be 100 times your phosphate. This will keep a balance of your nutrients. This high of an imbalance is probably beginning to stress your corals out. I know you're working on your nutrients, so hopefully your issues resolve!

You are 100% correct, I can't put chaeto in the sump because of the size but I'm thinking of buying an external chaeto reactor, I'm starting to think they are my rocks because even cutting the fish and coral feed in half can't keep the PO4 low.

So sorry Luis, it could be something was making it unhappy but I really haven’t read about any big changes. Sometimes it happens for no apparent reason. Over 2 years ago I lost all my torches, frogspawn and hammers to bjd almost over night.

Joel, I was over at my daughter’s house yesterday talking with her fiancé. He was saying how he wanted to go to a resort out west and I told him my father had been to a lot but his favorite was in Idaho. I told him about you and that you were near a resort and your restaurant has been getting hammered by skiers coming from a resort near by. He asked where you were at and googled it and said man he’s practically in Canada. The resort near you is huge.

And it's been super busy this year.
There is also a nice one about 40 miles south, which I prefer but not the mountain for skiing.

Wow, Wednesday is flip flop, T-shirt and short weather! If I didn’t have to work I’d spend the day at the beach! Can’t wait to see grass again, I can’t remember what it looks like.

No it's just right on the lake.
The downtown area and hotel are really nice.
The ski resort is way up on the hill and I'm afraid of heights
Badly....
It's a nice resort with an incredible view.
Just way up high.
I'm a flatlander. ;)
