Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I turned mine off but if he doesn’t have good surface agitation I would go with what you suggested.
So should I turn it back on?

So should I turn it back on?
How's your surface agitation? You want gas exchange to still happen. If you've got decent movement and ripples on the surface you should be fine. If not, take the cup off your skimmer and let it "boil over" back into the sump to keep aeration happening.

I have little bit but I’ll turn it on to be safe.

Joel, any positive results from the berghia, or is it too soon to tell?
Not that I can see John.
But it hasn't gotten any worse per se.
The bogus thing about berghia is you never see them so I'm just crossing my fingers at this point.
Tank looks terrible.
Aiptasia EVERYWHERE and I'm going dirty for a few months just to let everything build up.
Pretty easy to do for me.

I mean, I could buy a return pump for the 8 gallon but convincing my wife I "need" to spend an extra $40 on a tank that's doing fine as it sits isn't a fight worth fighting right now I suppose.
Heard.
It never is.

Well, I just handed her $80 for my Anemone sale so there is that. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Hi everyone! Very productive and exhausting day today! I forgot to put on sunscreen so my arms are really red but we finished Leo's second pasture!
Long live Leo!

This will be my first harvest. It's actually pretty easy so far. I've been dosing phyto to try and keep tunicates happy. So far so good and it will save me a ton of money in the long run.
AND it's just another cool way to extend the hobby and teach your kids something else.
