Good to see you buddy, I'm glad the baby is okay, what are your current lights?

Our lord and savior @00W blessed me with my first reef light a few months ago, as a gift, Amazon generic currently. I need to get another while I cycle my near complete 125G Build.

Going to borrow PAR meter from the lab and see how she’s doing overall. I was thinking of either moving these guys into the 125 but realized that will be a risk as I’m mixing with nearly 70% new water, uncycled water. To much of a risk.

Oh darn, I’ll have to have multiple tanks ;)

Eric Borneman is going to help refurbish my big boy 155G bowfront that some you may have seen me mention it on here. I knew to not send it to the dump!

125G is currently being leak tested with freshwater only

@00W You guys gave me the bug on this thread.

I really have been considering going back to school for marine biology. I’m sure a lot of have thought about it at some point in your hobby journey, but I’m still as passionate as I was on day one.

Having direct access to Eric Borneman and his team has been a wonderful learning experience.

(I am not promoting) just speaking my journey.

Family life would be a factor to consider but wife has said if I want to go back to school she will support me.

The baby can’t keep his eyes off the tank if we walk by, often arching to keep it in view! I wish I was able to get a video of him in the lab. He’s 6 months now and very attentive to everything!

Working on setting up a 40G breeder for some self taught researching myself (work in progress, will be a while) I am running my local business, won’t get into details but most of you know who I am already. (Thank you reef2reef for allowing me to remain active to comment and speak with my peers)

Slow and steady pace :)

I like those numbers John. I would feel better if calcium was closer to 450 but you’re fine as long as you are above 400. When the time comes, which it will, this what I use to bump the calcium up. Myself, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with phosphate, I know you’re working on it at .4 but that’s just me. I think Tim and Joel run theirs about there or higher. Oh, and your tank is looking absolutely beautiful!

Awesome! Thanks Kevin. I love seachem products, so this is probably what I'll run with. What do you like your phosphates to run. I stay between. 2 and .4
