I posted earlier about buying fish from liveaquaria and that hasn't gone smoothly, well the fish showed up today(a day late) and the wife brought it home, it was alive but barely. She floated then dumped the fish in, current took the fish away, over the overflow downstairs and into a filter sock, she got it out. Its still alive, she's calling me asking what to do, expecting me to fix it somehow but im an hour away, she's all worked up and overwhelmed so she's angry. Says she brought it up, put it into the tank and she lost it so she left :face-with-spiral-eyes: probably going to die and get eaten and instead of getting something with a $100 gift card, I spent like $10 to get rid of it :expressionless-face:

Really? You think they'll go for it if I can't find the fish? I mean, it did get delayed and I had to change my game plan on the fly to have her do everything so that helps my case

Maybe the fish is hiding which is normal, cuc or another fish can't eat a fish in a second without you seeing it

Last night I noticed that I had just become the father of my first two aiptasias and they are huge lol, taking a picture of the hammer I saw something that looked like it and when I looked closely it was exactly what I feared, they are in a difficult place to photograph but I will try in the afternoon

I find a higher mag definitely helps with algae

I was really surprised. I was bordering on having a problem with gha. It is literally turning loose of the rock and floating through the tank. I can't say for sure if it's mag, but that is the only change I've made.

I read numerous posts on R2R stating the same thing brother. I don't have GHA so I can't confirm it being true. I do run my mag about 1500 so that may be why I don't really algae.

I also still have a few Aiptasia. Apparently the nudis, if there are still any in the tank, don't like to hang out on the return Loc-line. I have three big ones there but I'm leaving them be for now. I still don't see any in the display other than the on the return so I figure it is an auto feeder for the nudis. I may have to do something soon though since I just put the gyres back in and they are a breeding ground for the Aiptasia.

Another proud Aptasia papa I see! Honestly, if there weren't so invasive, they can be quite pretty to see moving in the current. Mojanos as well, they literally glow under blue lights. That would be a great idea for a small cube. Just have aptasia, mojanos, couple other "pests" in there. Try and keep it as 'natural' as if you were looking at a piece of an actual lagoon reef.

What do you want to bet that if I set up and Aiptasia tank I wouldn't be able to keep them alive?
