Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
How are the kiddos, bud?
not actively chumming the water but still sour stomach. but I got saltines and Campbells chicken noodle soup in them for lunch. took them outside to toss some foam airplanes around since its nice out and 30 minutes later they have temps of 100.5. hoping thats the activity and not true. will take again later.

so odd thing. I mixed salt water probably a month ago. was 1.025. sat in 55 degree basement. took it out to come to room temp over 2 days. shook it up. at 75 degrees, it now shows 1.030. mixed it for a few hours, 1.030. going to dilute to 1.025 but thoughts? it is a sealed container. my tank always measures 1.026. which is why I always mix to 1.025 to have a buffer. unless polypropylene containers can evaporate. I use the HG Reef Mix so higher end German stuff. higher salinity should be eval. if it settles out, it should be lower? Wondering if I should try a long term experiment and make a salinity and carry it in like 12 bottles and test one bottle monthly? should be OK I think for 6 months so doubling the duration should remove expiration.

Oh man what a stressful day for all of you. Hopefully this'll pass as quickly as it came, my friend.

I’m no help as usual, I love Montreal steak seasoning but never had Brazilian seasoning. I’ll make a mental note to pick some up. I would definitely poke holes in the meat and put whole cloves of garlic in them and remember, you can never have too much garlic!

I have like 72 plants in the garden this year. still have probably 24 from last season. best long term produce. my evaluation on the spices. Montreal is a bit chunky and more salt. Brazil is finer with more heat in the spice. Brazil I typically use in kabob or stir fry now. (last was chicken) Montreal has always been roasts and steak. Montreal has that chewy style of almost like a crusty gum where Brazil is just spice. but yes....buy a bottle and try a side by side of the two. I think you will prefer my choice of Montreal as large cuts and Brazil in small pieces. pm me if you want some garlic. I can send so you can use and plant in October for next year. I had to consult an expert how to grow and I have it pretty solid now for awesome results!

Yes please!

I like both. but yeah, like I said the Montreal seems thicker and more salt. I tried the chicken version and thought no, not my liking.
