I should say two different Urchins sold as Pencil Urchins, not necessarily two different varieties of Pencil Urchins.

Yeah, Pencil Urchins are actually a relatively large group (taxonomic order Cidaroida); the most common in the hobby is Eucidaris tribuloides (which is spongivorous in nature) will eat pretty well literally anything it can get a hold of (including literal wood and fiberglass). However, other species are much less likely to eat corals. The few that I've looked at in depth may still do so, but they're much easier to provide other, more preferred foods for than E. tribuloides, so the odds are lower.

I have not, all my fish are from my lfs, very clean systems and they use an excellent vendor. I’ll keep an eye on them there for a week or two and if healthy and eating I acclimate and then drop and plop.
