What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience

Thank god you don’t live in New England and have to worry about Lyme disease! Some of my family in CT have it and my dog has it. Keep your Lyme disease to yourself New Englanders! Your getting as bad as Canadain geese!

As long as it doesnt bite you too long. I check before bed and before my morning shower. Don't think about that image too much Kevin. 😂

Sorry been quiet been watching The Chosen and really enjoying it. I'm off to bed but wanted to check in. Hugs to you all and I hope Monday wasn't too hard on you.
Good night peanut!

Guys, get a yellow lab and come summer, they just grow polyfill. Ultimate hack to save all kinds of money.

I've got a Gerberian Shepsky...

Husky/Shepherd mix. Lots of hair, lots of shedding.

Also an Aussie/Lab mix.

My Aussie/Heeler sheds the least. He still sheds, but it's not the fluffy hair

Good night peanut, sleep tight!

Don't get Lyme disease!
Or Lone Star Tick disease! My mom got that one and can't eat anything mammal meat or product or by-product. Milk, cheese, steaks, pork, hamburgers, butter... Lots of spice mixes have a mammal by-product as do lots of medicines.

My lab literally comes out in clumps. You can pull a cats worth of hair every day lol. My boxer/pinball? Never even a bit of shedding

I have never QT'D a fish Parker.
I do what Kevin does with my fish.
I float, add water a couple times and dunk.
No I haven’t. I used to have a guy quarantine them for me. He got out of the hobby so I don’t have anyone to do it for me and I honestly don’t have time to set up another tank to do that.

My wife has lyme disease and it has been very difficult over the years and has caused her lots of mysterious illnesses and many days of just overall malayaise, feeling drab and lots of doctors appointments ending in "we don't know what's wrong. "
She was finally diagnosed a couple of years ago and since she's changed her diet a bit, she's a bit better.
It's something you live with your whole life and it's really hard to deal with.

Understood Parker.
Setting one up is a pain.
All my fish I got from my local petco.
I'd have them hold the fish for 2 weeks, I'd put down a deposit and visit them for that time.
Never had a problem, but that's just the way I did it.

Ugh, if i could reed these to my reef tank I'd never have to buy food again!

I tried feeding a baby cockroach to my tank once (I raise them for our bearded dragon). A Seabae clown hit it but spat it right back out. I recovered the roach and put it back in the roach farm and it scampered away.
