Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Hard to snap a picture of, but dosed acropower like an hour ago and fed some frozen food with a dash of benereef, selcon, and a splash of garlic. Are these feeder tentacles?? Bunch of stringy white thingies

Sorry I don’t have experience with those corals but it is great looking!

Maybe they are catching food?

Did you ever watch the series Weeds? Great show.

Actually I did not. I remember commercials for it. Maybe I'll have to give it a go!

I assume they are? Regardless, if you get any corals that arent opening up, I put one dose of acropower in and ALL my corals had polyps extended and looked DELIGHTED. Whether the amino thing is a scam as far as health or not, absolutely best feeding response I've ever gotten. I'll dose it before broadcast feeding from here on out once a week as the instructions say, purely for that aspect.

This is kinda a better picture. More came out. I think it must be. Or at least I hope haha. Lights just went out. So we'll see what it looks like tomorrow 😅

It's very hard to be sure from the photo but it could be. Have you been getting polyp extension?

A little yes. I saw something like this and day or so after I got the frag but it was like one or 2 and when I checked the next day it was gone. I assume it was slime from stress. Today, there were none of these, then I dosed acro power/ fed and boom like 10-15 of these long, white hair looking things

I don’t touch the stuff but it’s legal here ( I know everything is legal in your state). Back when I was sick I was vomiting multiple times a day for over a year and my kids and wife kept trying to get me to but it wasn’t legal then and I refused. I was given synthetic thc by my oncologist after my transplant because I was severely malnourished and he wanted my appetite to increase so I could put on weight before I started chemo but it didn’t give me a high.
Everything is legal here EXCEPT that....

It sounds like they are from your description. If you are not getting extension you could try feeding a few minutes after the aminos. I've used PNS Probio once with what I considered good results.

I definitely saw a difference in polyp extension after I used the acro power. But my new corals arent extending nearly as much as the acros i've had for a bit. They did improve a bit after dosing and feeding though
