The Meridian can go white also. Maybe not pure white like a 10k halide, but you can get a 14k halide look

I turned off my bars. This is Meridian 11’s only. A white dominant spectum I made quickly in the app with a touch of blue mixed in.

The party trick comes in with the 14k bars
The bars have individual white and blues controls, and can add a ton more white, but also more blues and violet to balance.

It doesn’t photograph completely accurately. But this is a bunch of various blues on the meridian and then medium white on the bars, and small amount of blue on the bars. In person this is awesome. The tank is bright! You can see everywhere. The sand is white. The corals still pop a lot of color from the blue and violet and uv channels. But the tank isn’t that blue dominated look in person.

If you look at the frag plugs, you’ll see they come out natural color. The camera doesn’t capture the overall look correct, but this is what I would call a crisp 14k halide look, with a touch of actinic added in.

Haha, I worked at Taco Bell for a little while in high school. My favorite at the time was the chicken burrito add sour cream. So good.

I just remember sitting there in the special radiation room with all the signs. then they come in and open up the radioactive material, special dump box and make you sit there for like an hour before the test. I think that was old school because I had it done by another and it was all machine and none of that disposal etc... The new state of the art I guess. Then the written notes for when passing through the detectors at the airports and post office.

Got this Biota Cleaner Wrasse a few months ago…it really does a great job annoying the crap out of the fish…I mean cleaning. It likes nori and this is about the only time it sits still long enough to get a pic.

Got this Biota Cleaner Wrasse a few months ago…it really does a great job annoying the crap out of the fish…I mean cleaning. It likes nori and this is about the only time it sits still long enough to get a pic.

Fun fish to watch, I had one that was half a different color, I lost it and have been afraid to get another one since that incident.

They really are the crackheads of the ocean. I can definitely see how they would be annoying/over clean fish in a smaller tank.

This is my first one (I also have one in my blue tub)…and since they have a reputation for not living long in captivity I decided to go with captive bred ones. So far so good and ate pellets on day one. I feed mostly frozen and it quickly accepted that.

I had one for years and loved it. I would make a fist with an opening between my thumb and index finger and it would swim in to clean like it was a bigger fish’s mouth.

Great fish.
I've had many over the years.
I used to keep large angels.
Most of the cleaners lived about 2 years then, no mas.
All of mine I ever had ate brine shrimp.
Some of my favorites.
