Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I know John has six on the way. If your dosing manganese and Vintages gonis are thriving at higher phosphate levels all I can think of is light or flow you could try moving it around. Tidal Gardens has excellent info on care, light, flow etc. Type in goni care and you’ll get very detailed info. Based on it maybe move your gonis to a more suitable location?
+1 on this Kevin. I know they prefer a nice upswell current if possible. They need decent flow, but I dont think the like getting their tails kicked back and forth by current like a torch.

So, I asked my lfs to order me a Tuxedo urchin and they called today and said they got them. I asked my youngest son to swing by and pick it up before they closed. He texted me that they had 3 two small ones about the size of a nickel and a larger one about 1/3 of my one that passed away. I had him grab a small one and the larger one. My tank is complete again. Well almost, my female clown is obsessed with the new royal gramma and just hangs out in front of it’s cave especially when food is put in. The sixline added after just swims around freely. I thought that the clown would loose interest by now.

Awesome Kevin! I got a TU about the size of the one on the left. He's currently dragging a live stomatella snail around the tank. He's part of the cuc as well so it's like he's wearing one of his coworkers.

What's up @tbrown @Imrahilwjz are we the last ones standing?
Probably. I don't want to be standing but my wife is watching the Titan Implosion on Netflix right now and it's hard to sleep on my bed (the couch for now) when she's sitting on it...

Ive been wanting to watch that. My 8 year old is wrapped up in the history of The Titanic and all of the white star line vessels of the early 20th century. He can tell you the type of woods they used for the decks lol. I just thought that documentary might be a bit too raw for him. He would watch it in a heartbeat though.

Still here, just need to bathe and shave before bed. Have to be presentable for work tomorrow

Forgot to mention - reef cleaners order came today, 3 peppermint shrimp for the sump, some fuzzy chitons, and some snails. They had another white spotted hermit, but I didn't have anywhere to put another one.

I saw a hermit crab at my lfs today that was the size of a baseball (shell and all) I thought of you Wes lol. Im still looking for some shells for you.

@tbrown I almost completely forgot, but I took a picture for you at the lfs today too. I was going to make this purchase, but I want to put some time between my fish death incident and adding more fish. Can you "spot" it?

@Imrahilwjz This is the guy you were interested in. I can't recommend him enough. So peaceful and gorgeous. I wish I had ten of them.

Slightly different fish but still a more peaceful breed. I had both a Springeri and one of these guys.

This is a blue sapphire damsel that was getting bullied in my wife's tank. He's happy in the back 40!
