Your heaters are on a controller, right? I understand that the controllers were trying to heat up the water because the display was cold, but do your heaters not have controllers in the unit? I have them set to 83 so 1) if the controller ever fails, it won't cook the tank and 2) for instances like yours.

No, my heaters are titanium BRS heaters with no other controls. Plug them into a wall socket and they are on constant. I might change that soon though. Either that or I'll add a temp prove in the sump and set it up to shut the heaters off if the sump hit a certain temp. Not sure which route to take yet though

( We store our shoes in the garage) I was putting on my shoe today. I never check to see if anything in them, I just put them on. While putting them in, my toe hit something rubbery in the toe box. I stick my hand in to remove it, but I got freaked out after touching it again because it felt gross. I shook the shoe to get the thing to fall out, and it was a dead frog ... Never, ever again do I want to go through that. LOL. Anyways... Good night folks!

no pic saved on the bean stalk, but it did not have green color in it. I have only seen orange creamcicle

@Nor'easter Reefer . I wanted to basically run a test to see if I can grow acro's, but also wanted a coral that if it survived, would look ok in the tank. don' know about this bean stalk coral. I will post better pics when I get them Thursday
