Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I am seriously burned out right now. Between gearing myself up for the procedure and then watching the GPS adding not minutes but hours to our arrival time, spending about 20 minutes, while traveling 0.1 miles, talking to the doctors office about the situation, then doing a U-turn on the freeway and getting home 2 hours after we left. Then I get a call from the prep team wondering where I am so I have to go over it all again. Then I open my email and the parish school principal had sent me an email that outlook was deleting all of her diocesan email, followed by another that is was deleting her parish email, followed by one from another parish asking me to help them transition from Windows 10 to 11. Then I had to let everyone that was praying for me know what was going on...

Good news, I can eat.

I started to feel like the old saying about the people trapped on their roof during a flood and a boat and a helicopter...

Guess today wasn't the day.

I'm tired.
I'm so sorry, Tom. You don't deserve any of this. You've been going through a lot of stress these past few days leading up to the operation and for it to be postponed like that is disheartening to hear. I will still be praying for you and your wife. Please, try to get some rest and relax. You really do deserve it!

parameters are as follows: sal. 1.026, phos. .31, nitrate 35.4, mag 1350, cal. 350, alk. 9. my cal and mag are a little lower than what i usually run at but these numbers are pretty standard for me. i do have the reactor going to help with the high phos. it brought it down from .34 to .31 over the course of several weeks. im wondering if it is a pest. if so, how would i treat?

Well, it’s not your nutrients, to high is much better than to low. Zoas prefer dirtier water. Calcium won’t effect sort corals. I’ll let someone else who has dealt with zoa pests chime in. Sorry I can’t be more help.

The blue tape works for everything lol
I think you for sure could be both heat/ac and an electrician! My husband is a carpenter and an electrician so why can't you do both? Lol
