Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I sing to them when I’m rocking them. I tell them what good eaters they are and how pretty they are before I tuck them in every night. Alright seriously, I just follow what was on the video I posted a couple times.
you should try that. I believe Wes plays classical music to his when feeding and harvesting then heavy metal when they go in the tank?

We actually keep a jar of xanthan gum in our kitchen. I've used it to thicken sauces, to rescue a pumpkin pie filling (someone forgot to strain the excess water out of the pumpkin), and to save a frosting that was too thin.

Edit: Catherine says it wasn't frosting, it was chocolate chip cookie dough that was baking out as thin crisps instead of thicker cookies.
Actually I had no clue and just wanted to have a little fun with it. Sorry if I offended you. 😜

COuldn't wait till tomorrow? Or will there be a day 2 this week? Hoping you get more ingredients than I had.
I had no leftovers to bring and do decided to have taco Monday instead of taco Tuesday.

I heard congress passed a law earlier this year that made it legal to eat tacos two days in a row!

How do you get them to.come through the screen like that Kevin?!
I put the yogurt down with everything mixed in and push the mesh down slightly so the yogurt mix fills a lot of holes.

He should play them some Glenda Fairbach 😉

So you just put yogurt directly on the dirt? No bread?

Plain Greek yogurt, yeast, oatmeal and alternate pellets, flake and crushed up dry cat food. I don’t want the little buggers getting bored eating the same thing every day and I want them to be gut loaded. No bread.

Not at all. More of a recent discovery of ours in a YouTube video. Think of it as overzealousness to show how helpful it can be. 😁🫣

Didn't know who this was. Wish I still didn't
I was hoping someone would google it. Sorry that it had to be you Wes. She has a nice voice though. :)

Brilliant! Ive got a mission when I get home. I think im going to try to reduce some of the dirt in my culture. It’s too hard to collect them with the size culture I have.
Of course I don't have but a couple fish left now anyways...
