Hello Smorg family!
Wow, it has been a day. Woke up with this dull, intense pain mid sternum. It was hard to breathe too. I went to work and my doctor friend asked if I was ok. I explained the situation and he called 911. Spent the day in the ER getting a full cardiac workup. Several nurses, PAs and Doctors from my work came up to see me as well.
Everything checked out fine. The cardiologist (who knows me from the military) asked everyone to leave and told me it is stress and anxiety. He asked about my PTSD and I broke down. Some days, weeks are hard...very hard on me.
But, I'm like herpes and not going away. God had plans for me still! Plus, I'm a Smorg for life!

Tank is doing very well, had some hiccups but got through them

My daughter held one at the pet store. But with chickend, 2 dogs, 3 cats (at the time), one lizard, and my marine tank, my wife put her foot down. She wouldn't go for a rescue chinchilla either. The girls have almost talked her into gerbils (we've had them before and they're easy). She said she would be ok with a tarantula since we already raise cockroaches to feed the bearded dragon. Sorry, totally made this about me. Welcome to the Smorgasbord!

Here for ya buddy. I pray for a few people on here and I'll add you to the list. Stress is a hard one to kick with how much is expected of us everyday.

He sadly passed a few months ago… so. We thought we ferret proofed everything so I let him run around the house for 20 minutes I went to check on him and he got stuck head first in a yoga mat… and died in 20 min
