Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Yes easy and fast growers. I fragged the first one half a dozen times. When I got it I was looking for a colt coral, I had one for most of the 16 years my previous tank was up. The owner of my lfs said she hadn’t seen a colt coral in the market for many years and suggested the sinularia as a substitute.
That is a great looking coral man. Im really considering that one. Maybe stack it to contrast with a pink nepthia.

I also saw a hermit on the stylo. sumped!
I had one of my tiny hermits that loved to climb on my scoly and lobo. It was just that one out of dozens. He went into my wife's hermit tank.

Ummm... It's sitting empty on my desk. 😂 It's the one I upgraded to the HelloReef GloFish and I haven't done anything else with the Marineland yet. It'll likely go home and become a Betta tank eventually.
Did you do anything like add a stronger pump for better flow?

I was noticing a few days ago Kevin, that the right side of my tank needs some BRIGHT green. After talking to TBrown, I'm probably going with a slimeball anacropora for the rockwork, and this is a beautiful neon green as well. Im sure you get some nice movement too. Do you recommend it to own Kevin?

Maybe put it here if it doesn't mind a little upflow and mid-higher par.
your Dendros are ok with that much light?

That is so cool!!! I have never known anyone that could build a boat!
I was going to do this with the kiddos but I don't think the epoxy part is a good idea. I started it last October and it got too cold to do the epoxy since I need 75-80 degrees for it to set and it just sat all winter. then spring and summer been too busy with everything else but now that school started again I think I'm going to see what else I can do.

So I set up my new little tank just to check it. It doesn't leak the light didn't work which isn't a big deal because I wasn't going to use it anyway. I turned the flow on the pump all the way up and it feels pretty weak so I might need to get a stronger one. I still haven't decided for sure what I want to do with it but I do feel sorry for whatever fish was in it before. The substrate was basically broken pieces of glass they weren't sharp but i can't imagine it was nice to feel for the fish when looking for food that might have fallen down to it.
