Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
What all did you have in it as far as critters? What light did you use?
A Clownfish (my current female), a few hermits and snails. I used a Nicrew light.

Yeah, the Cap, Setosa, Slimeball, Stylo, GSP, Pavona, and Clownfish are all in the current tank. I only lost the Zoas and that Idaho Grape Monti.
Man Im loving me some setosa these days.
My lfs has a big display reef tank with this gorgeous colony. It has streaks of puple/green and new growth is pink. A couple months back, I walked in and he had a big chunky frag of it for sale. I bought that bad boy immediately. It looks great in my tank, but I dont know exactly where to put it. It was intended to go on the rock work, but I like the idea of growing it out on a frag rack for now.

Mine is about mid height in my tank. Directly beneath the light but slightly shaded by the Birdsnest.

I remeber that! I like how it looked lower in the tank than you normally see sps. And it looked good partially shaded and contrasting with the birdsnest.

So, my daughter and her husband stopped over and I was told to look at their dog.

Sounds like me this morning as well. I didn't sleep well so I will need extra coffee. Just added more salt to my water that's mixing hopefully it was enough to get it where I need it to do a change on my pico. I ordered 5 sexy shrimp, a Porcelain Crab and a pom pom crab yesterday from saltwateraquarium.com and I had my lfs order me a clown goby. I told him to get a green one if he can but any color is fine.

I just checked and my new little friends are out for delivery today. I had put a note to hold shipping until Monday but they must not have seen it. Do you guys think its ok to put them in the pico or should I put them in my acclimation box in the big tank for a while? The ammonia alert tab is reading safe but I can add prime just incase and am going to do a water change this evening.
