Looks absolutely amazing Brian!

I know what you mean about the prices of gear Tom. I have a modern turn table, mom's console, and a couple of towers from the 70s. Nothing extravagant or expensive. My joy is in the hunt for the vinyl themselves. I love looking for the old stuff and hearing it come back to life for new generations
When I got out I had a Thorens turntable, Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck, Sony carousel cd changer, Yamaha separates, and Klipsch tower speakers. Now I have a Sony 4k Blue-Ray, a Denon AV receiver and a SVS satellite system. No where near the same sound quality but not bad.

I love these types of stories. It makes perfect sense that your love and knowledge of music would have a cool origin story like this!
I already posted on here (I try to avoid posting the same song more than once but screw up occasionally) the song I lip-synced, 'Kind of a Drag' by the Buckinghams. It was a few years ago but as a hint, it was fresh on the charts when I lip-synced it.

Yes anything you guys like personally I prefer no songs with cussing though as I often listen out loud on a speaker in my office. Lol
Then don't download Kevin's songs!! He has sent me some awesome songs via DM... but... they are NSFW! But, they are funny!! Sadly, my wife doesn't have the same sense of humor as he and I do... go figure!! 🤣

Post any you like! Luckily it will tell me if the songs already on the Playlist. I have gimme back to page 4507 so far.

Fortes are wonderful! The first time I heard a Klipschorn I was hooked on what audio could be. I think that speaker, more than anything else, made me an audiophile. It completed changed my idea of what music could sound like. At one time or another I've had a lot of good speakers but I always prefer the Klipschs. That said SVS is making very good speakers for the price, especially their subwoofers.

Ya, I remember when my parents bought our first color tv.
My parents had us cut firewood to sell to help pay for our 1st color tv

I remember after we got the color tv watching a movie that we had seen on the black and white TV and saying, "That car's blue? I thought it was red!"

That's the magic of Black & White, you can make things the way you see them in your mind's eye. I still think B&W photography tends to be more emotionally involving than color.
