Hello @Lasse Is that a fathead sunburst anthias in the photo? I thought about making this addition to my 40 gallon, but Im not sure if one would be happy as the only one.
Yes it is - here is a photo which shows the full beauty of this fish. It is one of my "must have" fish. I missed one for a whole year a few years ago and the loss was great. I have found that one is enough - if there are several the others tend to get bullied and only one remains after a while - IMO. It is a shy fish that needs lots of caves. The example in the picture was chased away by my blue lip for a week before it toughed itself out and started showing itself. My tank is 80 G

@Lasse, mine looks exactly like that. I'm also 99% sure mine is a Blue Lip but it was listed at the LFS just as a Bristletooth.

Where do yours come from? Mine is probably from Kenya, Madagascar or Maldives

We are having a ceremony and little shindig, this day, while on the European cruise we will be gone on from tomorrow until November 16th.
Paris?

Sincerely Lasse

Good morning!

Simply having a tough time keeping up with 10+ pages a day from all you stupendous Smorgers!

To let you all in on one of the happenings of this week. Actually, one of the best not only of this week but of my life: I married the love of my life yesterday. It only took 12 years for her to wrangle me in. I caved. I am weak.

While it became official yesterday, the actual date we will be honoring will be November 5th. We are having a ceremony and little shindig, this day, while on the European cruise we will be gone on from tomorrow until November 16th.

How's that for sharing something personal, @kingranch2003 ? A pic from yesterday will be below this post.
Congratulations Chris!!

This one is for @tbrown @tharbin aka the monti crew. I went into my lfs today for some peripherals, and saw this gorgeous little, baby pink branching sps. It stood out from the whole frag tank. Turns out it's an ACI Manila Spy montipora. Do you guys (or anyone) have experience with this coral? I needed pink in my tank and im always looking to add to my monti collection.

In the bigger tank shot, it's top right.

John,

Very pretty coral. I do not have any experience with it but most montis have very similar care requirements. I'd say treat it like a digi.

I'm not positive but pretty sure it was the Maldives.

Does it stay small? - mine have not grown very much during the year I have had it - seems to be a rather small species. Its around 10 cm now (around 4 inch) Always on the move, difficult to take good photos of it because when you pull the trigger - its on the other end of the aquarium

Sincerely Lasse
