Hello family!
I just got home from having surgery today. I had a small mass in the right side of my groin. They also removed three lymph nodes to send to pathology.
I didn't want to worry any of you, so I decided to tell you afterwards. Its not concerning for cancer, so please don't worry. They are unclear if the mass is from toxic exposure in the military. Hopefully the pathology report will give us a hint.

NO.
from the beginning most mixes are 1/2C to 1Gal RO. Since you already mixed, just add maybe a table spoon, kettle it mix then check. then if still low add another table spoon, mix, measure etc...If it goes too high, you could dilute with more straight RO. I think you said you started with 15gal this morning. so the typical mix would be fifteen 1/2 cups of salt to those 15 gallons. But adding less would be better so you can tweak it later to your desired level. but if you have 15 gallons at 1.022SG, you need to add more salt. match it to what your tank measures.

I add about a tablespoon per 4 gallons and test again after 10-15 minutes of mixing.

If it's 15 gallons, the calculation comes out to 2 and a half cups, but don't add that. Add 1 cup, wait a while, and measure again to see how much it went up.

I don't think a tablespoon will make a difference in 15 gallons, but try it and we all can see what happens, It's better to go slowly than to go too far and have to add more RO water

Great choice but I think you exceeded your original price point by a tad.

I added a tbsp.. sadley I won't be able to hit my schedule but a day late is fine I guess. This weekend I'll do another 20 gallon change to make up for this.
