Happy Monday, everyone!

God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with. Billy Graham
For some people (my family), the Christmas season begins on November 1st, and one of the main things associated with Christmas is gifts. However, a lot of people are too focused on receiving gifts, not so much on the giving part. The quote above talks about us having two hands, one for receiving and one for giving. There is a time and place for both of these things. If we are too focused on giving, then we can't fully appreciate the blessings of people giving us something. On the flip side, if we are too focused on receiving gifts, how can we bless others by giving them something? That is why we must have a balance of both of these acts. So remember, as we go into the Christmas season, to not forget about giving gifts to those around you, but also appreciate receiving gifts from those around you.

Good morning Bailey, words of wisdom!

Good morning everyone! No tree stand for me today with wind almost constantly blowing from 15 to 25 miles per hour. Not really sure where we will go because our blinds are in the woods surrounded by trees so that could be dangerous as well with wind like it is. I hope everyone has a good day!
Good morning Amanda! Sorry to hear the weather is putting a damper on the hunting!

That was very well stated Bailey. I think I am more of a giver, than a receiver. I tend to help others way more than I receive help. I feel as it is a way that I can give back or help someone and be blessed that I am able and fortunate to do so.

As I have gotten older, I've grown out of wanting to receive gifts and get more joy out of giving now. Not to mention I hate attention being focused on me with birthdays, Christmas etc... Last year we were gift swapping with my wife's aunts and uncles and I was one of the last people to open something and a good 20 people just watched as I opened the gift. Hated every second of it, haha. I consider myself a blend of extrovert and introvert in the sense that I will talk to anyone out in public, but I don't like all the attention being focused on me.

I'm currently in a blind holding it down with my feet to keep the wind from blowing it up and causing it to collapse or break. So much fun... ROFL

Say it isn’t so!

I saw this and it made me so angry. The below average, fly by night players are going to ruin America's past time. Lifetime bans all around!

That sounds like a great morning to sleep in the stand lol

Probably caused by an identity crisis: 'what in the world am I supposed to be guarding?'

At work today so I can take Wednesday off. I'm basically not allowed to work tomorrow, so looking forward to a change of pace this week. Also praying for a peaceful shift.
