Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
No. I was going to grab a picture. Lights were on and they were directly below the lights so they were pretty well closed up. They had 2 pink and 4 or 5 yellows.
Im not sure if Ive seen the yellow ones. If you get some we can be the "Dendro Brothers". Ill make us a logo and everything. NPS will become the hot new coral!

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! Been a super busy week at work with not much downtime. Hope everyone is doing well and has an awesome day!
Get it wrapped up please Amanda. We miss you, lady! ❤️

If I admit to you that you're not far off by thinking of the scene, in that movie you mentioned, then it might paint me in a bad picture. So, no, that's definitely not how I do it! 😆

In reality, where I hate to live, I have not ever slept well. Going all the way back to when I was a yoot. There are a number of reasons for this and none of them are good. Therefore, I'll not get into those now.

I have had multiple sleep studies done and been told, "We're not exactly sure what is going on or why you have the trouble you have with sleeping. We also do not know how you are able to function normally, on a regular, daily basis." A couple of the sleep studies were done for "research."

I have been on every sleep aid known to man. You name it and I have used it. The only thing that helped me was a drug used for schizophrenia and it only became effective at an elevated level. I had to stop using it as it resulted in me sleep-walking and sleep-eating. Long stories associated with both of these things. Every once in a while, my system tells me that it needs rest. When I was younger, I could simply push through this when it happened. As I have gotten a little older, and a  little wiser, I have learned it is in my best interest to heed the need and get the rest being requested. Anyways, probably more than I should have shared but there it is.
I always catch myself "over sharing" on this thread. Never once have I regretted it or had it turned around on me. We're your friends. Thanks for trusting us with your story brother

Morning Smorgasbord. No work for me today. I started a new diabetes med and my blood sugar bottomed out to somewhere around 30 last night. If I didnt wear a continuous blood sugar censor on my my.arm, I might not be here. The alarm woke up the entire house, but sure saved my rear end.

I’m thinking of buying this boat and keeping it with family in Connecticut. I’ll take it up to Maine to eat lobster with Paul and Mike and swing down to Florida and the Gulf to visit my Friends. Speaking of the Gulf John, did you notice that since it was renamed the Gulf of America there hasn’t been a single hurricane? Imagine if they would have renamed it before hurricane Katrina, your parent’s business would have never taken a hit. 🤔

No one wants to hear anything out of your mouth but, "Hey, guys, check these out. I went back to the LFS and scored the Dendros I had mentioned. Aren't they sweet? Even sweeter than the Dendros @kingranch2003 has in his tank. Still, maybe he'll want to team up and we can call ourselves The Dendro Dip****s." LOL!

Absolutely, I can’t remember when I slept that long in one night.
I never have gotten close to 12 hours. I once did 5.5 hours, in a row, but that was aided by being up for a couple of days and, oh, let's say, also enhanced by other means.

Is that a root beer float?
It's a Caffe Latte with two, double shots of Espresso. Looks funny but, man, are they delicious. Just like me!

My troop is keeping an eye on y'all...carry on.
Lowell is always there... lurking. Lurking Lowell or, perhaps, Lowell The Lurker!

Holy moly, man! I sure am glad you didn't have a much worse outcome. My father-in-law once went into a diabetic coma. It's actually how they found out he had diabetes. Yeah, he had all the signs but never said anything to anyone about them. Then the crash. He's old school. Raised in Poland after WWII. Never, ever, ask for help or let anyone know what condition your condition is in. (see song below.) Nearly cost him his life. I had to have a very serious and hard talk with him. I am happy to report that he has since let us know when something doesn't seem right.

@tbrown This could be our calling.

In reference to the comment about my father-in-law...
