I have tried so many times to get
Gsp to grow up the back of my tank. Never seems to work. Maybe I should try again. Usually it just melts away to nothing.

I have a piece that's growing now. I've honestly never been able to get it to grow at all. But this is probably the first time a tank has stabilized and started growing things for me.

Just place it as low as possible and they'll grow towards the light. It's rare for a GSP to die. Did you have other corals in the tank when it happened? Usually, when that happens, it indicates that the parameters are very wrong.

Oh my old tank was a nightmare. Nothing went right with it.

I'm sorry, the gsp is a very hardy coral but it's not a good indicator for the tank because by the time it's dying I think it's too late

It will if all your parameters are somewhat in line . And for some time it’s cool 😎 but when they take over the area that you have coral that you planted you might think differently. Not a big deal because you can dial them back .

Yeah. Mostly, I was impatient and wanted everything all at once. This tank is doing infinitely better simply because I've been patient.

I have this piece on its own rock. I'm trying to get it to cover a small cave rock I have.
