What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Wow that P2S makes you look like you know what you're doing.

Seriously, very nice work.
Sssshhhhhh... we wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea. Plus, Zack did all the heavy lifting. (It won't let me tag Zack for some strange reason.)

It's hard for me to share my attention with anyone else now that Chris has joined us.

I knew I would eventually win you over.

Can you guys tell me what this coral is called? I love the way it moves but I can't remember what its called. I would like to add more easy corals that move with the flow so help me make a list for when warmer weather gets here.

Pulsing xenia maybe

Alright real question. What happened to Sam7 btw? O.o
I was wondering the same thing, I thought it was a joke but he hasn’t been back on.

But I do have a figi sump
FijiCube makes very nice equipment, including sumps, overflows, and AIO conversion kits but I think their largest AIO is around 40 gallons.

I heard Fiji Cubes leak often or maybe thats overblown. I was looking at their sump tanks mostly.

Sorry guys, house and thread rules: no topics of politics, religion, or other contradictory subjects. I know we're all mature enough (not Kevin lol) not to fight about anything, but it's better this way.
Except BBQ and Football?

Question for everyone. What tank brands do y'all recommend that are big enough for smaller tangs. Like is Water box or Innovative Marine the way to go. Curious what brands everyone recommends. Would I really regret not getting a sump tank if I went with an 80 gallon AIO. I was thinking of ordering a tank that is in that larger range and then just waiting on getting other equipment or lights while it cycles for a bit. I know the tanks usually take a long while to arrive as well. I have a Skimmer that's rated for 120 as well already. I prefer tanks that are wider then deep. Curious if anyone has tried JBJ, FIJICube, Water Box, IM, or any other brands. I know people say to avoid red sea.
I researched long and hard before deciding a waterbox was the way to go for me but I might have different priorities than you. I hope that helps Thomas. I’m planning a yellow and tomini tang.

Had mine for 7 years with no leak . Now you have me scared .

You’re right Jill, I remember that lunatic @kevgib67 , he was always trying to invite people over so he could pickle them. I’m glad that psychopath is gone and we never hear from him again!

If a grown person chooses to make a simple statement into a political statement thats in them. We talk about Church, regularly Pray for each other, talk about God and Jesus constantly. Do we ever stop to consider if EVERYONE has the same beliefs? No. Why? Because unless we're being rude, someone takes offense to it, we're just expressing our thoughts. There wasn't a single thing political about a global warming joke. Ill back @CoralB 100% on this and the chips can fall where they may? I mean are we really going to report that to Rev and have it removed? That's the part that ruffled my feathers.
Really not too sure what is going on here but I found absolutely nothing offensive in any comment.
In fact I found the dem comment hilarious and found nothing @CoralB said offensive in any way.
I figure someone is going to make an offensive, rude, gross or laugh out loud funny statement, joke, picture, song or whatever every day.
That's what makes this thread so fun and keeps me going every day.
We've been there for each other, laughed, prayed and cried for each other, met each other and seen our families together.
WE ARE A FAMILY.
The ONLY rule I've ever had is BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER.
I'm not taking sides when there's none to take.
There's nothing in what John has said that I wouldn't have said myself.
Anything can be taken any way anyone wants to.
I tend to just laugh at everything, including myself.

Good point maybe Sam didn't 'leave' has anybody counted the number of pickle jars at Kev's recently?
