Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Do you think the color would improve in a proper setup?

I would definitely not pay full price unless its healthy though. It may never recover as the reason its white or clear is it expelled the symbiotic zooxanthellae algae from their tissues. It may have only a 60-80% chance to live depending on how long its been stressed. There are a lot of stores where you can buy them online for reasonable priced. It looks like ones from Petco as they are always bleached at my store lol.

They had a price of $40 is that too much? I paid I think $75 for my last one but it was beautiful and colorful.

Um are those taco shells or tortilla chips I see? If so wouldn't that be more like nachos?
Nope just a regular salad, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, celery, onion and croutons with an Italian balsamic dressing. 😉

That sounds reasonable for one that's not healthy. This is going into the 125 so if it melts it won't cause too much of a nutrient issue right? I would feed it every other day or even every day until it regains its color.

I would see if they would take less for it to be honest

Yes it would go in the 125.

I make marks on the side at 5, 10, 15 gallons and so on. It may not be perfect but once you do it a couple times you will know if you need to add a little less water or little more water. I mix my salt at 1/2cup per gallon. Let's say I mix up 10 gallons and the salinity is a bit low. I can just add salt a little at a time until my salinity is where I want it. Or... if it's a touch high, add RO until your desired salinity.
I did the same thing to my brute. though I've actually never used it. 🥺 I just do it in jugs and store it. I also did make a measurement mark on the tank too so I could drain it and refill the same amount faster.

Ugh, 29 patients rescheduled from this afternoon and 6 canceled. Super slow and it feels like time has stopped. I passed our local Dollar General and our closest gas station this morning and both were closed. I’ve never seen that before.

No one wants to be out in the cold and snow there today.

Yes sir! I am pleased as is my wife and my bank account.
This, right here, is the best news I have received today!

Also, you got two "love" reactions from me today. I reserve this reaction for very few posts and you got two of them. Bully for you, Tim!
Now, I can appreciate a fried clam or clam chowder. But on a half shell? I don't particularly enjoy the sensation of giant sea boogers sliding down my esophagus. 🤣

Maybe I was thinking of oysters, but clams can be served raw on a half shell, too, apparently. Clams, oyster, mussels... All are just a no for me🤢

Have you ever had baked clams? If not, look them up. I do think you would like them. Seriously. While I also like raw clams (and oysters) baked clams are NOTHING like raw ones.

Dang Kevin, I didnt realize how busy a day in your profession was! I would've thought 23 patients would be a lot for a chiropractor in a day.

Of course I've never been to one, but Im always saying im going to go.

If you were to compensate me, I could drive up and take good care of just about all that ails you. Or, if you'd prefer, you can drive here. I have some fabulous tools in my garage and know how to use them.
